Fibre Heritage of The Coast Salish- by Whonnock Weavers and Spinners Guild

The Whonnock Weavers and Spinners Guild had the opportunity to write an article about Salish weaving. At the time it was a popular trend; many guilds had learned to weave in the Salish style and created beautiful tapestries. The Whonnock Weavers had the fortune of having an anthropologist on the team and after a visit to the Salish Weavers in Yarrow, at the Coqualeetza Cultural Education Centre, the group wrote the article.  It was published in Weavers Journal Magazine Fall issue of 1984.
